And So It Starts…

Hello there!

I’m Will, a 43-year-old father living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I work in tech (surprise, surprise 😂). And I promise not to bore you with too many dad jokes!

When I’m not working or spending time with my family, you’ll usually find me at a coffee shop, searching for my next iced coffee fix. I always have a camera in hand, ready to capture the beauty of the world around me. Photography is my passion, and I love being able to freeze a moment in time and preserve it forever.

More than anything, I’m passionate about living a well-crafted life. This journey has led me down many different paths, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned along the way. I grew up in the age of blogs, and I’ve always thought it would be cool to be a blogger. I’ve started so many over the years, but I’ve never really stuck with it. That’s why I’m here, trying again. My goal is to make 52 posts (one a week) over the next year to prove to myself that I can do this and eventually launch my own blog or email newsletter.

Life is a journey, and we all have the power to craft our own unique path. I’m excited to be open to change, to growth, and to becoming the best version of myself. My hope is that by sharing my journey, I’ll learn more about myself, who I am as a partner and father, and how I can live a fulfilled life. I want to live more meaningfully and sustainably, connect with the traditions of the past, and find new interpretations in the modern world. We’re all busy, but it’s about being intentional with our time, energy, and focus.

I’m challenging myself to document my progress, the good and the bad, and to share it with you. Personal knowledge is good, but shared knowledge is better.
